My husband and I have spent Christmas in California with my step-daughter and her family this year. Amy is a beautiful, smart and talented wife and mother. She can do just about anything, at least I think she can. She has decorated their home so beautifully. I thought I’d do one more post on Christmas decorations. Here is what you first see when you come to their door.

You can see Santa left one of his sacks and some gifts by the front door. Beautiful way to greet family and friends.
Upon entering you see the beautifully decorated stairway that is lit with white lights and wreaths.
She did a beautiful job decorating the chest below the banisters as well. The sofa table on the wall she had made and features photos of the children over the years sitting on Santa’s lap. Great memories for the children to see and remember, along with grandparents and friends.
This is just to the left of the front door. She has a beautiful glassed door buffet that she decorated with a lit Christmas garland, ornaments and a Santa. The plaque “love you more” is a response their nine year old son, Jack, says when you say “I Love You”.
The dining room is tastefully decorated with white poinsettias. silver and snow glittered balls, ornaments and pine cones. The lighting above is even decorated.
Her tree in the den is an artificial tree, but looks SO real. Decorated beautifully and topped with a snow angel.
We have had a wonderful time during our Christmas vacation with them. The time flies by so fast, when you are having fun! She and her husband are really good parents who have taught their children well in taking care of responsibilities around the home. They are well behaved at the table, whether at home or at a restaurant. They are helpful when asked to do something and are very polite and respectful. They started teaching the children when they were toddlers, that’s as it should be. Her husband is a chef in the kitchen and teaches the children to cook as well. Amy cooks, but Chris LOVES to cook and bake! They are a WONDERFUL family!
We feel SO very blessed this Christmas being together with family! Beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, cuddles and snuggles from the children, blessed with good health, the list goes on…… . Praising God for all his many blessings! Until my next post…… God Bless You!

She certainly has a flare for decorating. Love the dining room tree especially.
